We are proud to announce that Orkon Tekstil has successfully renewed its OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification for 2026. This annual renewal confirms that all materials and finished products from our facility continue to meet the world's most stringent textile safety standards.
What This Means for Our Partners
Our renewed certification covers all product classes, including the most demanding Class I for baby and infant textiles. This means every garment produced at our Izmir facility — regardless of style, fabric, or target market — is verified free from harmful substances.
For our brand partners, this translates into guaranteed product safety for end consumers, compliance with EU REACH, US CPSIA, and other regulatory frameworks, enhanced brand credibility and consumer trust, and access to retailers who require OEKO-TEX certification.
Our Testing Process
The renewal involved comprehensive testing of our current material portfolio, including all fabric types used in production (cotton, polyester, viscose, blends), trims, threads, and accessories, dyes and finishing chemicals, and finished garment samples from recent production runs.
Testing was conducted by an accredited OEKO-TEX partner institute, with results confirming full compliance across all 100+ tested parameters.
Beyond Certification
While certification is essential, our commitment to product safety extends beyond the annual test. We maintain a strict approved supplier list for all materials, conduct incoming material inspections for every delivery, keep detailed traceability records for all production batches, and continuously monitor developments in textile safety regulations.
